  1. Ulsoor Lake


One of the oldest villages in Bengaluru's metropolitan area is Ulsoor, also known as Halasuru. Ulsoor Lake, Bangalore's deepest lake, is also located there. Ulsoor Lake, one of Bangalore's most significant lakes and one of the city's biggest lakes, has a surface area of 123 acres. This lake is 18 Miter deep making this lake the deepest natural lake in Bangalore. It has become a highly popular spot for early-morning walkers and runners because a path for walking and jogging has been created all the way around the lake. Ulsoor Lake is a fantastic place for spending time with your family and friends.

Madiwala Lake is one of the biggest and deepest lakes in Bangalore. The lake is 61 feet deep and is spread over 114.3 hectare area. It is the perfect place to come at any time of the day because of the lovely green surroundings, the calm atmosphere around the lake, and the pleasant cool air that blows all day. In the area of the lake, there is a garden with large trees. The park offers joggers, locals, and kids a quiet place free of road noise and pollution. And youngsters, locals, and joggers are all delighted by the peaceful sounds of birds. A comedy club is also located at The Park. A playground is also present here.

One of deepest man-made lakes in Bangalore is  Bellandur Lake. The maximum depth of this lake is 9 Miter or 30 feet. 950 acres of land make up the lake's vast surface area. It is situated off the Outer Ring Road in the city's southeast. The lake used to be a popular destination for locals to relax. It is regularly used for swimming and other social events. Additionally, the water was used in agriculture. But over time, there was significant pollution in the lake.

Puttenahalli Lake, a famous lake in Bengaluru's JP Nagar neighborhood, was one of the first lakes to be restored by local residents. The length of the lake is short compared to the other lakes mentioned above. The average depth of the lake is 16 to 18 feet. considered one of the deepest lakes in Bangalore. For more general information, this is an artificial lake and a great place to spend your time, whether you are alone or with a group.

Hesaraghatta Lake is a man-made freshwater lake that was created in the year 1894 and is situated 18 kilometers northwest of Bangalore City. Hesaraghatta Lake is 27 Meters deep. This lake is the deepest lake in Bangalore . It was developed to meet the city's water needs and covers a 1,000-acre area. Additionally, it is a lovely location for picnics, spending time, bird watching, walking, etc. Simply put, it provides a happy environment away from the city's life.
