Things to Know About Sri VeerAnjaneya Swami Temple, Yelahanka Bengaluru
One of the oldest and most well-known temples in Bengaluru is Sri Veer Anjaneya temple. Millions of worshippers make their way here year to say their prayers. The Sri Rama Navami festival is held every year with much pomp and ceremony at the temple. Nearly 42 years old, this temple is home to a Veer Anjaneya statue that stands 32 feet tall and was hewn from a single block of stone. You may find this temple not far from the Mahalakshmi layout.

The Mahalakshmi Layout city park leads to the Sri Prasanna Veer Anjaneya and the adjoining Sree Srinivasa Perumal temple. The sculpted Anjaneya Vigraha is 22 feet tall and 16 feet wide. The idols of the deities seen here are that of Sri Shanmugaratnam, Mohanraj and Ganapathi. The massive Anjaneya idol stands with a mace in the left hand and Sanjeev Parvathi on the right.
